update: October 06 - We’ve released Summer’s End on MFR, a set of live material from September 1st. We played for Scott’s band students all day, and at Doane College all night. The songs are in chronological order from morning on. Look for another new track, “O Come Thou Dayspring,” on this year’s XMAS comp at Mr. Furious Records. LOVE! h&s about: We’re band nerds from Crete, NE. In the spring of ’99 one of our track meets was cancelled, a bunch of friends ended up in Scottie’s basement playing pool, howie was jamming on Dave Matthews covers and Scott got his sax out. Coffeehouse sets of half originals and half covers culminated in the album near and far. Then we went electric, which we still are. signs.comets is the record, made in a sweltering church attic in the summer of 2003, overloaded with ambition.
